Moblins for Matt Raises $7500 for The Seeing Eye!

Recently, Moblins for Matt held the Gotta Fetch'em All charity event and a charity stream for The Seeing Eye that raised just over $7500.

The charity event kicked off with a raffle of prizes at the Bar K Dog Bar, where various prizes were given out. The event packed the bar and various patrons tried their hand at winning one of the many prize bundles. As well as this, the Moblins showcased the newest entry in the Pokemon series, Pokemon Let's Go: Eevee and Pokemon Let's Go: Pikachu. The game room these games were located in also featured Pokemon themed games from the Nintendo 64 era, including Pokemon Stadium, Pokemon Snap, and Pokemon Puzzle League.

The second part of the charity event was a Pokemon-themed stream on Twitch that featured many of the Moblins playing many of the same games mentioned above, and more, culminating in the wrap-up of the Pokemon: Fire Red stream that was started by Denny Dalliance, right after Gotta Fetch'em All was announced to the public.

A special thanks goes out to everyone who participated in the planning, staging, and execution of the event, as well everyone who came out to participate in the Bar K event, and finally, everyone who donated and watched the stream! We really appreciate all you do for this organization!

An update! (Finally)

Hey everyone!  I know, its hard to keep up with bombardment of posts coming from this website (LOL), but I wanted to at least give an update on what has been going on around here.

New Moblins joined the ranks!

We have three new Moblins! Max, our editor, joined up recently. He has been helping us out with keeping the Twitch and Youtube pages up to date with all of our videos and just general housekeeping online.  Honestly, I am not sure how we were functioning without him before. A big welcome to Max!

Mead has always been a big help, but we are just lazy and forgot to tell anyone.  So... sorry about that? Mead has been active on stream and on the back end of things, helping with a lot of the "business" aspects.  Be on the look out for him on stream (you know he is around when someone peaks the microphone...RIP headphone users.)

Chad is the man, what else can we say?  Chad has been a friend of Corey and Annie for long time and has been a supporter of the Moblins since it started.  He has been to every event, helped with getting raffle prizes together to providing commentary! He will have a heavy hand in the upcoming streams, so you will be seeing a lot more of him.

Weekly streams!

As some people already know, we have been streaming several times a week, everything from Doki Doki Literature Club to Mario Kart.  We even have a night where we play multiplayer games with viewers! (Multi-player Moblin Monday!) Check out our Twitch page for the weekly schedule!

A new charity event this way comes...

The planning wheels are all oiled and in motion, so be on the lookout for that.  I can't give many details quite yet, but what I can say is it is going to be big.  This one is a bit different than the ones in the past, and it is going to be amazing.

Until next time...

Corey
